The Green Wolf

How would you describe your business?

The Green Wolf is the aegis for all of my creative efforts. I am a pagan author with several books published via Llewellyn Worldwide and Immanion/Megalithica. I am also an artist working with hides, bones and other natural materials; I create a wide variety of costumes, ritual tools and other sacred art. I am the creator of the Tarot of Bones, a natural history themed divination set due put in Summer 2016. And I am the organizer for Curious Gallery, a two-day arts festival in Portland, OR celebrating cabinets of curiosity and their contents. Lupa's books

What inspired you to start this business?

I began making my artwork in 1998. I mostly did it as a hobby for a few years, and then in the mid-2000s upgraded to a proper business with a license and more infrastructure. My first book came out in 2006 so I was able to leverage the Green Wolf as a promotional platform for that. And I have been 100% self-employed since September 2011, so it’s my primary form of income.
